Ellie Porteous, a Master Franchisee with G.J. Gardner Homes shares her experience on the impact that training with IMNZ has had on her people.
G.J. Gardner Homes has recently again been named New Zealand’s Most Trusted Home Builders by Readers Digest and the company boasts a training partnership with IMNZ that goes back to 2014. During that time several employees have completed a National Certificate in Business and more are currently half-way through a Diploma in Management Level 5.
IMNZ was the partner of choice for GJ Gardner Homes because IMNZ is a well-known and reputable organisation. She knew that any IMNZ qualification earned by her team would be recognised elsewhere in the workplace and not just within G.J. Gardner Homes.
Learning and development are important to G.J’s because it shows their people they are committed to seeing them grow and reach their fullest potential and it also proves to the team that management believes in them.
Ellie says the most significant impact to her organisation has been a definite rise in the level of confidence in her team. Also, she thinks training has given her people a better understanding of business in general.
