Health and Safety Q&A

Alert Level 1 for all of New Zealand

Your safety and the safety of our team is our top priority, along with delivering a great learning experience.  Our Auckland venues are well prepared and up to date with the Ministry of Health recommendations for operating under Level 1.

Health and Safety Protocols Under Alert Level 1

Each of our venues have strict health and safety processes in place.  These cover areas such as:

  1. Reminders about hand washing and/or the provision of hand sanitiser
  2. Additional cleaning and room sanitisation processes
  3. Contact tracing with the Covid-19 app
  4. Contactless catering when required
  5. Physical distancing reminders

Our facilitators will provide a safety briefing at the beginning of each workshop to ensure participants are fully aware of the required procedures under level 1.

If you are feeling unwell or showing potential symptoms of COVID-19 such as coughing, a temperature or shortness of breath, please remain at home.  Contact IMNZ to reschedule your booking.

How can you guarantee the health and safety of your venues?

The venues we work with have robust health and safety plans in place in relation to Covid-19 and these adhere to the health and safety rules provided by the government for operating under level 1.

Will you tell us if someone in my class gets COVID-19 and we might have been exposed?

If a facilitator discloses that they may be infected with Covid-19, they will be required to undergo medical screening and to disclose the results to an appropriate representative within IMNZ.  Should it be confirmed that a facilitator has contracted Covid-19, this will be reported to the appropriate health authority and advice taken on how to manage containment and disclosure of contact tracing information.  If a customer discloses that they may be infected with Covid-19, this will be reported to the appropriate health authority and advice taken on how to manage containment and disclosure of contact tracing information.

What will happen with the catering for your public workshops under level 1, do I need to bring my own lunch?

IMNZ will continue to offer catering for participants.  We have suppliers who are able to provide contactless delivery of individually wrapped/boxed lunches and snacks, all following strict health and safety protocols.

Can I swap my face to face workshop for one of IMNZ’s online programmes?
