Health & Safety During Level 2

Your safety and the safety of our team is our top priority, along with delivering a great learning experience. We are working directly with our venues and implementing the Ministry of Health’s guidelines on best practise health and safety procedures under Alert Level 2.

We will publish our detailed Alert Level 2 Health and Safety Plan on our website for all our valued customers to view and download. These protocols have been developed in accordance with WorkSafe’s guidelines. Course participants will also receive the health and safety procedures for their workshop venue prior to the workshop date.

Health and Safety Protocols Under Alert Level 2

Each of our venues has strict health and safety processes in place that will be shared with participants as part of confirming their booking. These include procedures such as:

1. Hand washing and/or the provision of hand sanitizer
2. Room sanitization
3. Contact tracing
4. Limits to the number of people allowed in a room
5. Food consumption

The required physical distancing between participants must be adhered to for all our public workshops. This relates to seating arrangement, interaction during the workshop, and during breaks.

Our facilitators will provide a safety briefing at the beginning of each workshop to ensure participants are fully aware and can comply with the required procedures.

Please familiarise yourself with our venue health and safety procedures before you attend your workshop. These will be sent to you, along without contact tracing procedure, before your day of attendance.

If you are feeling unwell or showing potential symptoms of COVID-19 such as coughing, having a temperature and shortness of breath, please remain at home. You can then contact IMNZ to reschedule your booking.

In the event that one of our learners or one of the IMNZ facilitators tests positive for COVID-19, we will immediately follow the government’s guidelines around informing anyone at risk of potential infection and ensure the right people are kept informed.

What will happen with the catering for your public workshops, do I need to bring my own lunch?

IMNZ will continue to offer catering for participants. Our suppliers provide the contactless delivery of individually wrapped/boxed lunches and snacks, that have been prepared in accordance with strict health and safety protocols.

What will happen with the materials normally provided during your public workshops?

To ensure we adhere to the required physical distancing requirements, and minimise contact between facilitator and participants, we will not be providing hard copy handouts during our workshops.
