Why did you decide to study with IMNZ?

better understanding of what type of leader I want to be, my core values and
how best to utilise my skills in the future.” And now, Monica is feeling much
more at ease in her position as Senior Case Manager at Aon.
What was a key learning that’s stuck with you?
This course taught me that only I can control what is in my ‘circle of influence’. Monica found this an important learning as it made her realise what is actually important as opposed to background noise that she shouldn’t let affect her.
What did you like about studying with IMNZ?
Monica found the relevant content and group work most helpful during the course. “It was great to be in a group with people from completely different roles yet dealing with the same core issues,” she says. She was able to learn from other people’s experiences as well as share her own and learn different ways to approach those situations. Monica found that she was often “cleaning up” others work and comments that Leadership Essentials encouraged her and equipped her with the tools to increase the productivity of the team rather than enabling poor performance.
